Fuji Kindergarten
A Circular Symphony of Learning and Play
Nestled amidst a verdant expanse, Fuji Kindergarten emerges as a playful sanctuary where nature and education intertwine. Inspired by the boundless energy and curiosity of children, the school’s design, masterminded by Japanese architect Takaharu Tezuka, embraces the philosophy of ‘Ring Around The Tree’, transforming the learning environment into a dynamic, circular playground.
Circular Embrace of Nature
At the heart of Fuji Kindergarten lies a majestic tree, its towering presence casting a protective shade over the school’s circular structure. This harmonious integration of nature into the architectural design mirrors the school’s commitment to fostering a deep connection between children and the natural world.
Landscape of Endless Possibilities
The absence of rigid boundaries and enclosed spaces within the school’s interior creates a seamless flow between classrooms, play areas, and outdoor spaces. This open-plan design encourages cross-pollination of ideas, allowing children to seamlessly transition between structured learning and unstructured exploration.
